The US Supreme Court - Post 3

The U.S. Supreme Court, as stated in the video, remains one of the most powerful government and judicial bodies on Earth. While their power is backed up by the US Constitution, they still put their power in the hands of the public. How a Justice comes into power depends on the President of the Unites States at the time whom he nominates. After appointed, it is estimated that a Justice should serve 3-5 years before feeling comfortable in the position so that it doesn't feel like "work".

In the early days of the Supreme Court, when it was first established in 1789 under Article III of the Constitution, Washington had signed the act, appointing 6 justices who would serve on the Supreme Court until they retired or passed away.

Their main goal is to establish law within states and "draw the boundaries of government power". They have authority to tell the President, Government, and public what they can or cannot do to avoid controversy.
